The MTM Financial Group was founded in 2003 by Matthew T. McGonigle.  Matt has seen continuous success as a producer, marketer, and manager for nearly a decade.

In 2004, MTM Retirement Resources, Inc., a full service insurance agency, was established to provide single premium life and annuity products across the Midwest.  MTM quickly became a premier agency as it grew it's agent and client base, and expanded it's services through strategic partnerships with other industries catering to retirees.  To date, MTM has trained agents nationwide and currently has licensed agents in over forty states. 

Through dedicated tracking, measuring, and continuous improving from 2000 to 2006 MTM established itself as a valuable resource to agents seeking direct mail marketing and appointment setting.  The basis of the agency and nearly all of our clients have been acquired through our own customized marketing systems. 

Matt has been on a variety of commitees which have created the marketing pieces and products being utilized in the single premium life insurance and annuity market today.  As all of our marketing efforts are tested daily by actual agents in the field, we feel we have always had a defined competitive advantage.

In 2006, once our marketing systems had been tried, tested, and proven in the field, First Descent Financial Marketing was founded.  First Descent specializes in creating turn key marketing solutions to financial professionals in a variety of industries.

Matt is also the founding trustee of The United States Institute of Retirement Planning Education.  The Institute was founded in 2006 to provide consumers with complimentary retirement services and currently offers the opportunity to pair clients with member organizations.  Membership in the Institute requires an application, complimentary service description, and ethics course.
